Steamed Chicken Wrapped

Easy steamed chicken wrapped with garlic, egg and sesame oil, along with seasonings.

Ingredients:

½ pound chicken fillet, smashed
3½ ounce sago flour
4 leaves spring cabbage, soaked with hot water then dried
2 cloves garlic, chopped
½ egg, beaten
1 tbsp sesame oil
Dash of salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Combine chicken fillet, garlic, egg and sago flour. Add dash of sesame oil, salt and pepper. Stir well.
  2. Roll in chicken with soaked spring cabbage. Then steam until cooked.
  3. Serve with tomato sauce.

Sinigang (Broth Chicken)

This is a different broth chicken recipe with radish, carrots, tomato and Bombay onion, along with garlic and seasonings.

Ingredients:

¾ pound chicken
1 cup chicken stock
3½ ounce radish, minced
3½ ounce carrot, minced
3½ ounce Bombay onion, minced
1½ ounce soy bean
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tbsps margarine
1 tomato, minced
½ tbsp Worcestershire soy sauce
½ tbsp tomato sauce
½ tsp cinnamon powder

Directions:

  1. Cut chicken into some pieces. Saute with margarine, garlic and Bombay onion.
  2. Add Worcestershire soy sauce, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Pour in chicken stock, radish, carrot, tomato and soy bean.
  3. Bring to the lower heat, allow to boil until chicken is tender. Remove. Serve.
