Maryau Gai (Chicken with Sesame Oil)

This is a delicious chicken with sesame oil recipe with ginger and wine, along with seasonings. Scroll down to see more.

Ingredients:

1¾ pounds chicken
1 slice ginger, cut into thin pieces
4 tbsps sesame oil
3 tbsps wine
2 tsps Worcestershire soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 cup chicken stock
½ tbsp Oyster sauce
Dash of oil, salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Divide chicken into some pieces. Sprinkle with salt and peppper. Fry until lightly brown. Set aside.
  2. Saute fried chicken with sesame oil and ginger until fragrant. Allow for 5 minutes.
    Then add wine, Worcestershire soy sauce, Oyster sauce and sugar. Stir well. Meanwhile, pour in chciken stock.
  3. Add dash of salt and pepper, then allow until few of broth appears. Serve.
