Rujak Baked Chicken

Rujak baked chicken is a different baked chicken recipe with originaly seasoning from Indonesia. Try this one for your lovely family.

Ingredients:

1 whole chicken, divided 8 pieces
3 tbsps soy sauce
½ cup sour seasoning
Dash of sugar
Dash of salt
Dash of seasoning

Seasoning:

8 cloves onion
8 cloves garlic
8 red pepper
8 slices candlenut
2 slices turmeric

Directions:

  1. Crush onion, garlic, red pepper, candlenut and turmeric, then saute until fragrant.
  2. Put the chicken. Add soy sauce, sour seasoning, sugar, salt and seasoning.
    Cook with cover until few broth appears. Remove and dried.
  3. Bake chicken until it turns brown in colour. Dish up and sprinkle with left broth from herbs. Serve with raw vegetables and hot spicy sauce.
Yields 8 servings.
