Soy Sauce Chicken

Easy soy sauce chicken with ginger, garlic and Bombay onion, along with seasonings.

Ingredients:

1 whole chicken, divided into 16 pieces
2 red pepper, sliced
5 sprigs spring onion, cut up
¼ Bombay onion, sliced into thin pieces
3 tbsps margarine
3 tbsps soy sauce
Dash of sugar
Dash of salt
Dash of seasoning

Seasoning:

4 cloves onion
6 cloves garlic
2 slices ginger
Dash of peppercorn powder

Directions:

  1. Coat divided chicken with salt and seasoning, stir well. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Fry chicken until lightly brown.
  2. Shred onion and garlic, mash ginger, then saute until fragrant.
    Add the chicken with some of water. Pour in peppercorn powder, soy sauce, sugar, salt and seasoning.
  3. Sprinkle with red pepper, sprigs spring onion, Bombay onion and margarine before the chicken is done.
Yields 8 servings
